So Saturday was homecoming for some and a coming of disaster for many. I work in a restaurant and Saturday I had wished that I didn't. I don't even know where to start but all I know is that at 11 o' clock thousands of kids showed up at Applebees ready for an after party when our restaurant close at midnight.
This did disturb because not only were they children it was so many of them. There was five homecomings that day so there had to be at least over five dozen kids at our restaurant. Most of these children seemed to be nice but needy which didn't make our wait staff feel any better about serving these children.
Applebees has half off appetizers after nine so that's what most of them came in there for, which is a great deal but it wasn't for our kitchen staff. They went down in our kitchen with so much food to make with not any help.
Even thought this night was crazy and most of these children didn't tip I had a remembered table of a young couple. They we well-mannered and nice. These two kids sat at my table and had manners with yes please and no thank, thank you and so for. This couples bill was only around twenty-five bucks and ended up tipping me eight dollars which blew me away. Not saying that I thought I wasn't going to get tipped but I wasn't thinking that much. So every young kid is not ignorant at tipping, it's some of them.
I was at the end of the night thinking when the heck I was going to get out of there and when a HOME COMING was coming for me after that long night.

Is this Right or Wrong???
In my days of learning and figuring out what I wanted in life, I figured that I want to do more right than wrong and something o the new startled me. While watching the 5 o'clock news i seen that the government started was signing people up to fill out applications so they could get money for people that couldn't;t pay their bills because of today's economy.
In Detroit many people look at the government and feel that its just a free money support. These people that they were interviewing were people with not only money but people that probably could pay their bills but they just didn't want to. One woman I've seen had her hair hair and fake lashes on and she need money. I'm very disgusted with this because not only are there people that lost their jobs and can't afford their bills but these people that have been working at GM for 15 years and so on really need this money. Some of those people that were standing in line for this free money were homeless but they were homeless before the economy with down. Some of these people are just taking money from people that really need the money.
Is this Right or Wrong for a person that works hard for they I get like me and to give free money to people who don't deserve it and people who don;t have real problems is this wrong or right?
Alot of people would say this is ok because these some of these people really need it. Some would say this is totally wrong. I feel that this situation disgusts me because some of these people that will be getting this money doesn't deserve these privileges but at the end of the day what it really is that how can we see who really needs it or not.

Tables are not that Waitable!
In my day to day I realize that people have there own minds and in the restraunt business people don't realize that waiting on tables is not the easiest job and people don't understand that waiters and waitress don't make over 3 dollars an hour. In my whole 3 years of being in the restaurant business I found out that not only are people ignorant of tipping but also people are not patient.
I asked my mom what she tips and even she said she would only tip at the most 5 dollars even if her bill was 62 dollars. I had to tell her that I get very angry when people don't tip 15 to 20 percent of their bill. In this I was helping her find out that we make what ever out tips our and if our tips are not what we worked its like working for free. I can go on and on about tipping but some people at the end of the day just dont argee on tipping, they don't feel like they should do it or do it right.
People also don't understand that anything can go wrong, even though we don't want things to go wrong an we want everything to be perfect, everything is not going to be.
